The art of hospitality with a desert aroma
From the early morning we went out on an adventurous and indulging journey in and around the Ramon crater.
The group – 30 members of an American non profit
Season – March
Location – Mitzpe Ramon/Ramon crater
The Journey started with camel riding on the edge of the Ramon crater, escorted by a professional guide.
The weather was perfect, and so was the visibility and view.
They went on to having coffee and baklava, received a geographic explanation and safety instructions and went on a self driven razer, RZR, ride. The challenging drive included driving in a convoy in to the middle of the Crater for an authentic Bedouin lunch in a hospitality tent that included wash rooms.
After a short rest they went back to Beresheet hotel for some spa treatment and rest.
Toward evening they went out for dinner in a local olive press located in the middle of an olive orchard. They enjoyed tasting some local wine from Nana winery and excellent olive oil from Marom olive press.
As usual we finish the night around the bonfire with desert stories & wine.
